What is Clogging/ Powertap?

Clogging/power tap is an exciting genre of dance that combines elements of clogging, tap, and many other forms of dance. It is usually but not exclusively performed to contemporary music that has been cut or beat-mixed to include the most exciting rhythms and sounds of the songs. Dancers wear tap shoes with a special split-sole that allow them to do fancy foot work on their toes. It is a very aerobic style of dance, progressive, exciting, and challenging.

They have performed with dancers in venues such as the National Junior Dance Olympics, Disneyland, The Grand Ole Opry, and Branson Missouri.

In 2009, Cambria’s team of sisters were finalists on NBC’s ‘America’s Got Talent.’ Check out their videos at www.fab5sisters.com.
